Totally disappointed with this juicer. I'm a huge fan of Jack, but his juicer was awful.

Carrots broke and jammed in the bottom of the feeder, so did celery. I had to stop the machine 4 times just to get a cup of juice.

I used it once a day for 4 days, the 5th day, it stopped working - the motor was on but the blade wouldn't turn.

Within one week, I returned it, highly disappointed.

I too became interested after the Jack Lalanne juicer infomercial & I have to say after purchasing one-it is one of the "best" purchases if "ever" made. Just to know that there's no "corn syrup, sugar & ingredients that you cannot even pronounce let alone know what they are.

Rest assure that they're alot of synthetic ingredients involved that are not made for an organic body. In just one cup I drink on average at least 4 to 9 different fruits,veggies & roots(burdock,beets etc), were as it would take quite-a-bit of time to eat everything I juice & drink. "Absolutely Wonderful"....I promise.

Do you make sure that you turned it on before you put the fruits or vegi's in. If not you could have just been stopping the motor before it even started moving up. You wouldnt hold someon back as they started to run would you if you wanted to test there max speed?
