Power Juicer Express and Stainless Steel Power Juicer

(Santa Rosa, Ca, USA)

I purchased the Express juicer 3 to 4 years ago. About a year and a half ago I attempted to order a replacement blade.

I was away from home and was forwarded a card that came from the company apologizing and saying part was on back order and to send the card back in if I wanted to receive the part still.. "Dah" I thought and sent it in.. months went by never received any thing.

This year attempted to order part again I was told they were hard to get and it could take 6 weeks. About that amount of time went by when I received another card, same scenario.

I contacted the company. I was told the parts were hard for them to get again... when I pressed their rep.. I was told well.., actually they don't support that juicer any more... and was told I could get a refurbish Stainless Steel Power Juicer for only $59.00...

I liked my Express juicer it has worked great.. In looking at my warrantee I notice the motor has a life time guarantee.. they'll replace it if you pay the $30 dollars to ship it to them... Too bad they stop providing the replacement parts that you need the most to keep it operating.

I received my new juicer.. it is bigger takes up more room on my counter top.. I am sure I will like it as much as my old one. I looked at the replacement parts.. of course you can't just buy the blade unit you have to buy the strainer and the crescent tool (to take blade off) that as far as I can tell would never need replacement.

More money for them, more things to fill our over burdened land fills with. I am thinking about returning my juicer on ethical principal. I am disappointed that Jack who I hold in high regard has a company representing him that as a policy of not supporting their products for reasons unknown.

I would speculate because then they can force you to throw away your old one that is working in order to buy new one that will cost you $27 to get replacement Parts Kit #1 until such time as they "have difficulty" getting those.

A few weeks ago I received another card apologizing for my part being on backorder telling me to send in the card if I still wanted it. I wonder how many years they will keep sending me them if I keep sending them back to indicate yes I still want this part you don't really apparently have.

blade recall
by: Dot

I purchased my juicer The Power Juicer Pro from a Costco in Spokane WA. I am Canadian. I received a letter saying the blade had been recalled because they shipped the wrong blade for the Pro juicer. They offered to send me a replacement blade through the phone. I applied on the phone as instructed for the new blade and to date, six months later still no blade has been delivered to me. I am not expecting to ever get it by reading the comments posted here. So my juicer sits unused. I have since misplaced my original sales receipt so taking it back to Costco is out of the question.

I cannot find anywhere to purchase a new grinder blade.

Old machine VS new machine
by: Jack

Really amazed to hear that they not support the old one. Probably they have to announce if the want to launch a new juicer you have to give a promotion to swap with the old one.
