Jack's Power Juicer Deluxe

There seems to be a lot of snobbery in the juicing circles. I saw complaints that there was actually pulp in the juice, or that it was difficult to clean.
I started with a $30 machine during my cancer treatments. Believe me, the Jack LaLanne IS easy to clean. Try that $30 machine and make a comparison.
The pulp in the Jack LaLanne is relatively dry. That $30 juicer had pulp the wetness of sorbet. I have the cleaning done in a matter of minutes, not sure what the expectations are for some of the reviewers.
In juicing, you are basically disintegrating fruits and vegetables. There is going to be pulp. Some will be in the machine, and yes, some will be in the juice. Get over it.
Or, put some cheesecloth over your receptacle, although you will be discarding some great nutrients and flavor. I purchased the Power Juicer Deluxe at Costco, so staining isn't a problem.
The plastic is black, and the exterior is wrapped in stainless steel. I don't know why so many juicers are made in white plastic, it is destined to be stained with use.
The Deluxe also comes with a spare blade. I've had my unit over a year, juicing almost every day and the original blade still looks as good as the spare. I saw reviews where the users broke the spindle by overtightening the blade, too much force pushing in the fruits, or a combination of the two.
So if you buy one, don't over-tighten the blade, and don't push down too hard, let the blade do the work. If pulp upsets you, drink water.
If cleaning up after juicing is just too laborious for you, don't juice. It's an unavoidable side effect.
