I bought my Champion direct from the manufacturer, Plastaket in Lodi, CA at least 15 years ago. I chose this model and brand because it fit my juicing needs the best and it had the best reputation. It also came highly recommended from one of my relatives, who has had his probably twice as long. This Champion juicer did not disappoint in the least. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It has helped me to lose weight when I wanted to. Any time I have any ailment, I just look it up in my juice books and get rid of the problem from the inside out. When I am consistently juicing, I feel better and have better skin, hair and nails. I also have tons more energy and sleep better. I used to work for a great boss that had one of those round models with the chute coming out of the side. I think it was the Juiceman. Everyone started really getting into juicing & it really upped our enthusiasm on the sales floor. Sometimes we had a line waiting to use it. I decided to bring my Champion in so we could juice twice as fast. We noticed a very remarkable difference. We got WAY more juice out of the Champion compared to the other brand using the same amount of veggies. The pulp that came out of the Champion was also much drier, probably because it is a masticating juicer. One of my co-workers took the pulp home with the intention to use it for compost. I liked my idea of using it to make homemade healthy dog biscuits. The other machine ended up with a burned out motor and my Champion withstood doing the job for both machines. It's got a lot of miles on it & it's still going strong. You'll never drink V-8 again after having a great glass of organic veggie juice. Just writing this has reminded me how much I enjoy it, so I think I'll go enjoy some now. I'll never regret choosing the Champion and you won't either!
